BRF cofounder chaired GCA’s Global Knowledge Exchange Event on Floating & Resilient Development

On 29 September Rutger de Graaf, the cofounder of Blue Revolution Foundation, chaired the webinar organized by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA). The event was a great success, expanding the brain trust of sustainable floating city development.

The Global Knowledge Exchange on Floating and Resilient Development was a great success, with around 100 participants and 2 sessions of 4 roundtables. The event included various topics surrounding floating city development, such as upscaling, research, social aspects, affordability, floating food, floating energy and environmental impact. Participants included city officials, consultants, researchers and other professionals who specialise and/or are interested in floating development. Many engaged in fruitful discussions

The global floating development community is grateful for the leadership and pioneering role that Global Center on Adaptation is demonstrating on this topic.
